is jive night!

Choose your favourite dance

We offer classes in a wide range of dance styles including foxtrot, quickstep, waltz, cha cha cha, rumba and tango, just choose which ones you want to learn!

Ever fancied learning to dance?

We believe our popular and successful 'Strictly Dancing' classes are the ultimate choice for adult couples to not only learn to together in a social and friendly environment, but to also improve both physical and mental well-being.

Our dance classes are held across three venues in Milton Keynes where you'll be able to learn all aspects of Ballroom and Latin-American dancing, Argentine Tango and also authentic 1950's Rock'n'Roll Jive.

We aim to make our dance classes both relaxing and fun whilst fulfilling your dancing goals. Dance routines are broken down into individual steps, enabling even the least confident of complete beginners to master each dance. We start with the basics and build on the dance each week so that by the end of the course you'll have the steps, the routines and the confidence to dance practically anywhere.

We offer individual care and personal attention as we believe these are key to customer satisfaction. We even film all new steps and post on the relevant Whatsapp groups so the keenest learner can practice at home!

A bit about our leaders - Debra & John

Kennedy's Dance Club was set up in ???? by husband and wife duo John and Debra Kennedy.

After a childhood filled with dances classes, exams, competitions and show performances Debbie pursued a dancing career at the London College of Dance and Drama, qualifying to teach all genres of dance. Debbie is also the founder and principle of Milton Keynes Dance Centre, (now run by her award-winning daughter Laura Christie), which became one of the top ten most successful dance schools in the country.

John was a comparative latecomer to the wonderful world of dance at the age of 50! After spending many years attending rock’n’roll events he tired of being the perpetual wallflower and decided to try some dance lessons. His confidence grew and he hasn’t looked back since. Speak to John today and he’ll tell you that leaning to dance is one of the best decisions he’s ever made, and that you never too old to learn to dance!
